I came to real estate through a non-traditional path — I graduated from Babson College with a degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship, then worked at Bear Stearns on Wall Street, where I witnessed firsthand the collapse that became the epicenter of the subprime mortgage crisis. At the same time, I was playing poker on the side and doing well enough that when Bear Stearns went under, I took my severance and went full-time. I spent nearly a decade as a professional poker player, which is ultimately what brought me to Las Vegas. I came for the game, met my wife, put down roots, and never looked back. In 2015 I made the move into real estate, something I'd been investing in since my mid-twenties, and in 2018 founded Battle Born Realty from the ground up as an independent broker-owner. After six years running the brokerage, I transitioned the team to Battle Born Real Estate under eXp Realty, retaining our identity while gaining the tools and platform to operate at a higher level.
